Welcome to Schuetz Driving School, we are committed to providing our students with the highest quality instruction. Our philosophy is for our instructors to teach driving skills in a friendly, caring way. We believe that a patient, positive approach will help students to relax and enjoy learning this very important skill.
Operating a motor vehicle is a serious responsibility. We understand that driving habits are generally formed early on, so we work on teaching our students from the beginning the correct way to operate a vehicle. Our comprehensive courses cover everything from how to adjust your mirror, traffic laws, defensive driving, city driving, turns, lane changes, parking, highway driving and auto maintenance. We know that this will lead to long term success in their future driving experiences. Each student must have a minimum of five hours of driving experience prior to scheduling their driving instruction.
Schuetz Driving School is licensed by the Kansas Department of Education and meets the requirements for a student to receive their instructional permit, restricted license, or a driver license depending on their age and other state requirements. *If a student is under 17 years old they must have their instructional permit for a full year before they can move up to restricted license.
For your convenience we provide door to door pick up and drop off service (for the driving portion of the class only) in Johnson County and Spring Hill. If you live outside our service area we will plan a designated area to meet.
Registration is $410 by check or cash or $425 by credit card or PayPal and includes, 8 hours of classroom (7:50 am-4:30 pm) and 6 hours of driving instruction. Click below for more info.
